Meh

I don't know if it's the weather, or that it's a crazy time of the year at work, or if it's because of the never-ending issues with T.

I just know I am not myself.

Thank goodness for Greggy as he is my rock. I am looking forward to going to Honduras though!

Kali De Leon

I am honoured and privileged to be a Kali student of Ama-Guro Jun De Leon, a true Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) Master.

Those who are familiar with the Jason Bourne series know that Matt Damon trained in Kali with Jeff Imada for 6-9 months to prepare for the role.

Here is Ama-Guro Jun in action.

I am very excited to learn this art, in addition to getting to know my own culture better since I'm so westernized now.

Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square

I love this hotel, it's my new favourite in Toronto. I may want to live at Le Germain permanently.

Big up to Le Germain's Concierge team (Gregory and Susan) for hooking us up with a great table to watch the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight on 12-Nov-11. And thanks for the welcome brownies, cookies, handwritten letter. Nice touch. I was too full after the Shore Club dinner to eat the brownies (and we got back at 1AM thanks to the Boxing match), but Mr. Greggy the Cookie Monster ate the cookies pre-dinner.

Some room shots taken from my Blackberry.

I Am The Best Wife

Recall - Greggy treated me to a nice romantic weekend on Friday 04-Nov-11.

That weekend was centered around me... very soft, girlish, romantic, Pretty Woman-like, ticks all the right boxes.

This is the montage of this past weekend's events - my turn to treat him. He said I didn't have to, but I love him and I know that I would enjoy it too. Really I just did it all for me... just kidding... although I'm not known to plan anything that I wouldn't love to do too, regardless of the occasion.

The Shore Club

We went here to watch the Fight.

Manny Pacquiao won, although it was a really close fight.

OCD

Source:ocdrecoverycenters.com

My OCD drives me to do things that are probably beyond the norm for... anyone.

I like to count. I like to count a lot, like Howard Hughes.

Yesterday Greggy and I were on the track by 7:30 AM. It was freezing. It was only 1° yesterday so a bit nippy. Had made up my mind that I was going to run 20 laps (8 Km). I was doing very well, counting along, with every lap feeling prouder of myself. I was sure I would have achieved the 20 lap goal, but at lap 19 Greggy said he had to go pee really really bad.

I would have asked him to go pee in the bushes but it was kinda light out and there were people walking their dogs, etc.... so.... I was forced to stop myself.

Took me about 1:02:00 to do 19 laps, not bad. I was kinda peeved knowing I could have hit 20 laps. Greggy said I have to take it easy... lest I get injuries, blah blah blah... and I said "Whatever, I just stopped so you can pee."

Anyway 3 hours later, my quads, hamstrings & right foot were feeling the pain. Greggy was right.

Women with OCD need husbands like Greggy.

Rick Astley!

Hey, anyone remember Rick Astley? I used to love him. Actually... I only loved two of his songs (I didn't actually love him).

Here's a funny little bit courtesy of my youngest sis.
