La Belle Jacmel - Mmmm.. Haitian Food...

I've been wanting to go to La Belle Jacmel restaurant at Kennedy Rd and St. Clair Ave East - for months now actually. They took over the St. Clair Bakery space and have been serving up classic Haitian food since 2010, 2011?

Anyway, I'm excited because tonight I'm going to get dinner from there. I am particularly excited to try their fried chicken (as I have a fried chicken fetish) and their griot, apparently an orange-marinated pork.

I will let you all know how fab the food is, so you can be jealous... bon courage for me!
